I'm a fifth grader in Taos, New Mexico. I wish all teachers could visit the places they teach us about. Reading about them is just plain BOORING!. His class is really lucky. Mr. Minott, if you read this, can you tell me if you get bitten by any of the animals? ;-)

We are so excited that our Flat Stanleys will accompany you on your trip to Nova Scotia. Our class is involved with mapping the route. Please, will you tell us whether Flat Stanley is frightened of voles should you spot one on your journey? We truly hope that he will mind his manners around Quincy. Thank you, Mr. Minott, for this privilege.
Best wishes,
Classroom 24

Hi Mr. Minott,
Our second grade class is very excited to be following you on your trip to Nova Scotia. We are envious of sending Flat Stanley along with you and told him to mind his manners around Quincy. Please let us know if you see any voles. We think flat Stanley might be afraid of voles, since he had a bad experience with a mouse on one of his earlier trips. On behalf of Classroom 24, thank you for this wonderful experience.
Best wishes and a safe journey!

Bob, this is going to be a GREAT trip. I was a part of Team 2! Heads up, when I flew into Nova Scotia, I saw a black bear just as we landed at the airport! You will see lots of ponds and fields right before you land. Keep your eyes open. Give Lycos a BIG hug for me. (You will know how that is when you arrive!!!!)
